Well, we notice now that Kizzi is only a few inches off Mum's shoulder height!! When she enters adulthood we will, we're sure have difficulty telling them apart when out in the field!
However, at only half the body weight of Kola, at the moment, its not a problem..... You know its funny, Kizzi is going through the 'all legs / no body stage of growth... totally out of 'proportion', as indeed several owners have metioned to us about their pups.
Now, in fact Kola never seemed to go through this growth pattern, she stayed fairly well in proportion throught her growth into adulthood...... But........ Our first All Black German Shepherd, the guy that started all this off, Jet... did... very much so, a very 'lanky' puppy!
Jet was a son of Amelon High Society & Chanton Harvest Moon on your pedigrees, the Great Uncle of Kola then!
Well to assure you all, and as you can see from the few photo's of him on the site, Jet developed into the most stunning looking dog, honestly, hewas admired by all who saw him, a very stocky well built animal, with massive shoulders.... truly looked quite 'The Man'... and he knew it ;-)
So, worry not if your wondering if you have a German Shepherd or a Greyhound ;-)...... just wait a few more months!
Celia & Nige xx
And now there's just one. Our Kizzi.
Cherryll & Mick have just left with Heidi, along with Gill & Balloo. Safe Journey to you all & have a wonderful time together. Photos's on both their albums, of course!
We have 8 'empty' tiny, rather worn, little collars left, thats all...... Oh, & a whole load of so-happy memories.
House is empty, and strangely silent. Kola has done at least 5 laps of the lounge / hall / kitchen / conservatory / garden, checking to see if they really have gone. Kizzi is fast asleep by our side as we type, Kola now at our feet. Gosh, its so quiet!!!
Hell, what are we going to do with ourselves now!!! Well for starters, Sunday lunch at our local dog friendly pub beckons, whole family invited... of course!

We have loved slept & breathed these bundles of fun for the last 7 1/2 weeks, we know in our hearts their potential. They are bold, confident, & intelligent puppies, every one of them.
And they are very lucky, so are we. They are lucky to be going to such wonderful loving homes, and to people who understand the breed and what magnificent companions they can become. We are lucky, so very lucky to have been able to witness their lives, right from their very first breath of life to the bundle of 'trouble' you've taken from us this weekend. An amazing, fantastic, experience, that words cannot describe.
So nothing more to say really.... except a big THANK YOU to all new owners. Thank you for finding us, and your Kolakin puppy. Thank you for your support and wise words in times of concern, trust us, your support helped more than you'll ever know.
These puppies.... Your Dogs, will become stunning pets, worthy of all of you!
Love
